1. About Make My Soul

Make My Soul is an online journaling and reflection platform designed to provide users with a private, safe, and supportive space for self-expression, emotional reflection, and personal growth.

Make My Soul does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. By using Make My Soul, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Responsibility

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for any actions taken using your credentials.

4. User Content & Journals

Ownership

You retain full ownership of any content you write, submit, or store on Make My Soul, including journals, reflections, and posts ("User Content").

License to Operate

By using the Platform, you grant Make My Soul a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and how it affects you and others.

5. Anonymous & Public Sharing

If you choose to share content anonymously or publicly:

• You understand that anonymity does not guarantee absolute privacy
• Shared content may be visible to other users
• You remain responsible for what you choose to share

Make My Soul does not monitor or endorse User Content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post harmful, abusive, hateful, or unlawful content
• Harass, threaten, or exploit others
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation without permission
• Attempt to access accounts or data without authorization
• Interfere with the Platform's security or functionality

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6a. Objectionable Content & Community Standards

Make My Soul has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.

Users may not post, share, or transmit content that is:

• Objectionable, offensive, or intended to cause harm
• Sexually explicit or exploitative
• Threatening, harassing, or targeting any individual or group
• Promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
• Discriminatory on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality

Violations will result in the immediate removal of the offending content and permanent termination of the user's account.

Make My Soul reviews all reports within 24 hours and will take action accordingly.

Reporting & Blocking

We provide in-app tools so users can protect themselves and the community:

• Flag content — any journal, comment, or user can be reported directly from within the app. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours.
• Block users — blocking a user immediately removes their content from your feed and prevents further interaction. Our team is notified of the block.

To report content or a user, tap the report icon on any journal or comment, or visit the user's profile and select "Block User" or "Report User" from the menu.

7. Mental Health Disclaimer

Make My Soul is a journaling and self-reflection tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing emotional distress, self-harm thoughts, or mental health emergencies, please seek help from a licensed professional or local emergency services.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Make My Soul accessible at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Make My Soul at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform design, branding, logos, and non-user content are the property of Make My Soul and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Make My Soul shall not be liable for:

• Emotional or personal outcomes resulting from journaling
• Loss of data or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use of the Platform is at your own discretion and risk.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
